Delivering my show
as part of Cardiff Carnival 2012 – Carnival Programme which includes the timetable for the 20 acts performing simultaneously at  Hayes Street Pitch is outside Central Library under the Giant Hoop Sculpture and Queen Street Carnival Stage (11am – 4pm)Besides the best of Welsh carnival arts, SWICA’s broad church approach to carnival embraces burlesque, clowning, a Zumba flashmob, street bands, capoeira and the best of local world music (including Ballet Nimba who opened the 30th anniversary Womad Festival last weekend to great acclaim) : free family entertainment.The Finale Parade starts at City Hall at 4 pm – lead by Cardiff’s Roller Derby Team, Tiger Bay Brawlers, dancing carnival flags on skates!
The parade will stop for the Street Jam in High Street at 5 pm approximately when all paraders will perform simultaneously – not least to entertain a large crown gathered for the Olympic Men’s Soccer Quarter Final that evening.Cardiff Carnival 2012 comes to a close with the first Carnival Ball at the historic Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay (poster attached)
